Write Society and its eponymous website celebrate writing, and strong writing at that. While this website features a social networking feature like other internet forums, it also inspires a higher standard of readership and involvement. Readers who appreciate strong prose will embrace Write Society, and writers who seek an appreciative and cultivated audience will gravitate to this website and company like no other venue.
Featuring 15 topics, the website will showcase 5 (or more) perspectives on each subject, 500 words or less, updated every 5, 15, or 50 days. The subjects, the "First Fab Fifteen," are alliterative and eclectic: Family, Friends, Faith, Food, Fashion, Fitness, Film, Fiction, Fact, Freaky, French, Fun(ky), Fads, Fantastic, and Football.
Writing workshops will commence in the summer of 2008 and will take place at Zeba Spa in beautiful Fox Island, Washington. Enjoy the majestic Puget Sound view while learning how to write a memoir, novel, college essay, or even holiday newsletter. Indulge in a pedicure or massage too. Tutoring services are also available online (writing work focuses on inspiring, revising, and editing).
Contact writesociety@gmail.com for information about spa writing workshop dates, tutoring and advertisement rates, employment opportunities, or the submission process of article or essay contributions for website publication.
